Discounts offered on key IEC documents for rural electrification

The Lighting Global Quality Assurance framework — including the QTM (Quality Test Method), ISM (Initial Screening Method), and MCM (Market Check Method) —was institutionalized through the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) as Technical Specification IEC/TS 62257-9-5 ed2.0 (more information on the IEC/TS 62257 series can be found here). Funding support for institutionalizing the quality assurance framework through IEC was provided by IFC and Global LEAP.  To make this and other important documents more accessible to key stakeholders, the IEC, World Bank Group, and United Nations Foundation have collaborated to provide discounts to qualified stakeholders:

75% discount on IEC/TS 62257-9-5 (CHF 85.- instead of CHF 340.-)

75% discount on IEC/TS 62257-9-5 + all normative references (CHF 666.50 instead of CHF 2’627.-)

58% discount on entire IEC/TS 62257 series + all normative references (CHF 10’208.90 instead of CHF 24’021.-)

50% discount on any other individual documents in the IEC/TS 62257 series (with or without their normative references)
